Interesting article from Forbes magazine regarding a growing trend amongst the Brits since the Brexit vote. Home Hunts have been quoted in the article because, whilst British enquiries for holiday homes have reduced since the vote, we have found a growing number of Brits looking to move to France permanently.

In France, luxury real estate finders Home Hunts have seen an overall decline in the number of British buyers since the referendum—except for those who are considering relocating. “In the past,” says director Tim Swannie, “the majority of Home Hunts enquiries from the UK were for holiday homes. Since June 23, the only increasing area of UK buyers is from those who wish to relocate. UK based enquiries for Paris have risen dramatically and are mainly coming from people working in finance.” Similarly, he adds, his company has seen a sharp rise in enquiries for homes in the French Alps that are commutable to Geneva
